Why use Qiksign?
Qiksign provides powerful software and hardware for the Digital Signage. Simple to use, any user can arrange programs, movies, images, advertisements, and scrolling messages and then display those media files on the Qiksign as scheduled. In addition, you can administer it via a network connection or via USB stick.

Is there additional software required to manage the player?
No, the management software is included.

How come VPX110 does not require a server?
Having a dedicated server adds to costs. For a small number of players to manage, it is not economical to set up a server just for digital signage storage. Each player has 40 Gb built-in hard drive, and the schedule feature in the software will allow each player to run without a server.

How many players can be controlled by one PC.
Up to 10 players can be controlled with one PC.

Is a license required for each player?
No, there are no licenses or fees associated with owning or using our digital signage player.

How long can the players run for each time?
They can run 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week non-stop. Overheated is not a problem. If you still feel better not running your player full time, its easy to turn it off only when you are away.

How do I design the content for the VPX110?
The VPX110 software has about 120 templates to choose from, which makes it easy to use for less-experienced users.

What kind of media formats can be supported?
BMP, JPG, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4

Is there any extra equipment required to use VPX110?
No extra equipment required. All you will need besides what is included, is a PC to design the content.

What is the USB port used for?
The USB port is for uploading when you don't have network access. Rather that extending your network, owners can reduce costs by uploading content to remote locations via the USB port.

How do I put the players into "sleep mode"?
By clicking the sleep mode icon in the Player Monitoring and Management portion of the software application. The player will stay in sleep mode until a user awakens it.

What will happen if transmission is interrupted or stopped while uploading contents?
If transmission is interrupted, player will act as though the file transmission was complete, but will leave the display blank.

What is Digital Signage?
Digital signage is a form of advertising in which content and messages are displayed on an electronic screen, or digital sign, and can be changed without modification to the physical sign, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times.

What is Narrowcasting?
Broadcasting to a very narrow range of audience is called narrowcasting. Advertisers can use this new technology to create and send multimedia to a specific group or person. It can be used to display targeted advertisements, show images or messages.
