WiD340, the newer model was made more versatile by adding Mac OS compatibility in earlier part of the year with request from many dealers and integrators.
With the release of Mac OS Lion (10.7), Apple changed the architecture and interface with which software were developed. Teq AVIT jumped right away to develop new software for WiD series video receivers and within 2 weeks released a new firmware and software utility for Mac OS Lion.
