The TRH279 - HDMI Transceiver (or repeater) is a versatile unit using Teq AV/IT’s award-winning pioneering HD CAT One technology that can be used as a Transmitter and Receiver combination unit to extend your HDMI or DVI digital video signals up to longer 700-ft (210-m) from the source using seven of these devices in loop or daisy-chain connection over CAT5e/6 cable. This is first of it kind product in the industry that allows extension of HDMI or DVI signal from its normal 25-ft (8-m) normal cable run to 700-ft (210-m) by daisy-chaining or looping multiple units and providing a local output at each junction.
The system is perfect for transmitting high-resolution and high-definition Digital video and audio signal in HDMI or DVI format for Digital Signage applications in public places like shopping malls, museums, government offices, train stations, airports, corporate lobbies, warehouses, and manufacturing floor. TRH279 saves installation cost by using inexpensive CAT5e or CAT6 cable instead of expensive fiber cable or down-converting HD - Digital signal to analog signals. TRH279 allows facility-wide or whole home wiring or office cabling for HD, Hi-def or high-resolution digital signals like HDMI or DVI using standard twisted pair CAT6 or CAT5e cable saving hundreds of dollars on installation.
TRH279 is compatible with all HDMI equipment like Satellite set-top boxes, cable TV receiver boxes, Blu-Ray Players, DVD Players, PCs and video cards, Game consoles like PS3 or Xbox360 and HD digital signage Players like Teq Digital VPH150. TRH279 is also compatible with DVI-signals from computers, PC, iMac, video / graphics cards and digital signage Players like Teq Digital VPW130 or VPW150.
